IT Community and UIS Mentoring Scheme: Mentors' Online Event Part 1

Description

A contextual, informative and interactive webinar-style event to provide guidance and helpful techniques for mentors enrolled on the UIS Mentoring Scheme and anyone interested in mentoring in general, to support their colleagues and understand how to develop to be an effective mentor.

Target audience
  • All mentors from UIS and the IT Community enrolled on Mentoring Scheme 2020
  • Any potential mentors who might be interested in being a mentor in the future
  • University staff interested in mentoring as a personal and professional skill
Prerequisites

This only applies to participants enrolled on the Mentoring Scheme 2020, other attendees do not need to do any pre-work
You will be asked to complete a 'Wheel of Work' questionnaire to help you understand self-reflection. Using a wheel can help you to explore current reality and critically reflect on yourself as a professional, this will be emailed to you on the 30 June, please complete before you attend the online event.
