UIS Staff Agile Workshops - Session 2 Roles in an Agile team
New

Description

In this 90-minute session, we'll cover GDS roles and how they operate in context. We'll also explain how BA and service manager roles fit within in GDS environment. To successfully build and run a service, you need to have a multi-disciplinary team with a range of skills. The size of your team and the roles you need will change during the different phases of development.

Target audience

This session is for UIS colleagues (and our organisation representatives) who are nominated for the first cohort of the Agile Learning Journey. Everyone who's a part of the first cohort should attend. It's important that everyone understands the roles of the team.

Prerequisites

Before the session, read 'What each role does in a service team' https://www.gov.uk/service-manual/the-team/what-each-role-does-in-service-team from GDS and email Chris Mitchell cm896@cam.ac.uk by 8 November if you have any questions. This will help us tailor the session to your needs.

Objectives

You'll understand the GDS roles, their key responsibilities, and how they work together in the service team.
