Excel 365: For Beginners and Improvers - (Live Online using MS Teams) BeginnersPrerequisites
This is an online instructor-led course to help you get to grips with spreadsheet basics using Microsoft Excel. It will be taught in a small group and no previous knowledge is assumed. Following on, we offer further online instructor-led courses that build on these fundamentals to extend your skills (see Related courses below).
For those who prefer to self-study there is an online course from LinkedIn Learning, the course can be accessed here. Sign in with your CRSid@cam.ac.uk email and Raven password.
All university staff and students.
- Basic computer skills i.e. familiarity with using a keyboard and mouse will be assumed.
- The course is aimed at beginners - no previous knowledge or experience of the software is assumed.

Instructor-led, hands-on, working from a workbook.
The course will be taught using Excel on a Windows PC, but will also be suitable for Apple Mac users. It is helpful to use two screens attached to your computer if available, the Teams meeting should be on one screen and the learning materials on the other screen. Please contact your instructor if you need advice regarding your computer set up.
