This briefing session will provide more information about the Administrator Development Programme and is for staff with a confirmed place on this year's programme.

Target audience
- Staff with a confirmed place on this year's Administrator Development Programme. This Programme runs annually and participation on the Programme is by nomination only.
- This programme is intended for those working in specialist or generalist administrative roles who have been in post for approximately one to five years or who are experienced administrators in another context and new to a University post. It may include for example Departmental or Faculty Administrators, those in professional services roles and UAS Administrative Officers, amongst others
- The programme aims to support the individual’s development plan and there should be clear benefits of undertaking the programme for current role and for the division or department. Please note that the majority of participants on this programme are within the grade range 7-9
- Participants (and their departments) need to make a commitment to be able to attend the Introductory Briefing (3 hours), the 6 sessions and to contribute fully to the project activity

- to have broadened knowledge of current issues and developments within the University
- to have reflected on the relevance and links to your own roles
- to have developed a range of skills which are likely to be key to the administrator role
- to have engaged in a project which allows you to work with others, gather information about new areas and enhance your learning from the programme
