Description
This is a follow up Question and Answer session to an introductory video on risk management in your research. This is an opportunity to ask questions raised by the video presentation or discuss any cases or scenarios you are currently working on.
The discussion can cover:
- Risks associated with your research project and how to manage them;
- How your research project impacts the University finances;
- The role of the Research Office and different parties therein and available support.
Target audience
- Academic staff who are eligible to apply for external research funding
- Researchers
- Professional services staff who support Principal Investigators with planning and applying for research grants
Prerequisites
- PLEASE NOTE: As a prerequisite to attending the session, you must familiarise yourself with the Managing Risk in Your Research: A Brief Introduction and Costing & Pricing - Your Research Project in the wider University Economy narrated presentations before joining this session.
