Description

This online workshop is tailored for line managers and aspiring managers, to empower them to unlock their full potential and enhance both individual and team performance. Through participation, you'll elevate team dynamics, nurture individual growth, and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.

You will be introduced to the techniques of coaching and focus on the development of a range of skills that may be used to coach others effectively.

This course is highly interactive and will include the opportunity to practice your coaching skills in a safe space.

Prerequisites

Complete the following before the session. It should not take you more than 20 minutes to complete:

By attending this workshop, you'll be able to:

    • Define what coaching is and differentiate it from mentoring.
    • Summarise the importance of coaching for line managers.
    • Classify barriers to a coaching approach
    • Understand the concept of a coaching mindset
    • Recognise the core coaching skills required
    • Apply the GROW model to facilitate a coaching conversation.
    • Categorise and differentiate situations where Coaching is suitable.
    • Create a personal commitment to implementing the session's learnings into practice.
