Waiting List and Stand-by Places
Fully Booked Training Events
If a University Computing Service training course is fully booked you will be sent an email and your name will automatically be placed on a stand-by list. If the stand-by list has reached its maximum number before you submit your booking you will be notified that you have been placed on the waiting list.
Therefore if you do not receive a booking confirmation email when making a booking you have not been successful in obtaining a confirmed place.
Please do not turn up to courses unless you have the relevant booking confirmation.
Standby places
Stand-bys are invited to turn up 'on spec' in case places becoming available due to very late cancellations. On the day of the training event any places not claimed by the start time will be offered to standbys on a first to arrive basis.
Offer of a place
If a place becomes available due to a cancellation you will be offered a place via email. You will have one working day to respond to this offer.
Waiting list place
If you are unsuccessful in obtaining a place on a training event and further dates are available we will contact you.
Registering an interest
You can express your interest in a course that is unscheduled or a training event that has finished. If another extra event is organised we will contact you.
