Microsoft Academy: Course 10515: Managing Customizations in Microsoft SharePoint 2010

This online course is part of the Microsoft Academy Online Learning courses.

This two-hour course provides you with the knowledge of browser-based and SharePoint Designer customizations in SharePoint 2010. This course also provides you with the skills for customizing farm and sandboxed solutions.

This course helps you prepare for the Exam 70-667 TS: Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Configuring.

• An experience of at least 12 months in deployment and management of SharePoint solutions.
• An experience of at least 12 months in working with Windows Server 2008 Server, Internet Information Services (IIS) and networking infrastructure services, such as DNS and Active Directory.
• An experience of working with Windows PowerShell.

At the end of the course, students will be able to:

• Explain the concept of a farm solution.
• Explain browser-based customizations in SharePoint Server 2010.
• Explain SharePoint designer customizations.
• Explain the concept of a sandboxed solution.
