Chemistry: Graduate Lecture Series: (BT) Biophysical Techniques: Theory & Practical Applications (18L)

Description

BIOPHYSICAL TECHNIQUES: THEORY & PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS (BT)

This is a series of talks and a symposium, created and hosted by the MRC-LMB, outlining the theory and practical applications of various biophysical techniques as applied in structural biology research. Topics ranging from mass spectrometry to bioinformatics, flow cytometry to light scattering techniques will be covered. These sessions will run on a Tuesday/Thursday programme from 10-11am in the Max Perutz Lecture Theatre and will nicely complement the other provision in the Lent term.

You need not sign up to attend these sessions. If you are a first year Chemistry PhD student or MPhil, however, and wish to document your attendance at one or more of the sessions offered, please do so on page 7 of your ‘Chemistry Department Graduate Training Log Book’ and where possible, obtain the signature of the lecturer to confirm your attendance at each.
