Voice and Presentation (One-to-One) Prerequisites
Would you like to learn exercises that will reduce vocal strain, improve vocal range, variety, clarity and pronunciation to gain and hold the attention of an audience?
Would you like to make a positive initial impact and keep control of difficult situations?
In this individualised and confidential one-hour session you will determine the objectives and work on exercises to address your specific interests.
It is possible to use this booking page to book one follow-up session for additional support. The course trainer will advise when this may be helpful. Please only book one session at a time.
- For staff involved in teaching or training: University, College or Non-University Teaching Institutions teaching staff
- Further details regarding CCTL's eligibility criteria are available here
- At the beginning of your one-to-one session, you will be asked to give a short presentation (or excerpt thereof). If you are working on something specific which you would like to practise (e.g. a lecture, paper, talk), then please bring this with you on a data stick.
- If you don’t have anything particular to present, then please come prepared to talk for 2-3 minutes about yourself and your work.
- If you receive a confirmed place the time slot will be specifically for your one to one, therefore if you are unable to attend you must cancel your place, giving as much notice as possible
