Collaboration Tools: Microsoft Teams - Fast Track (Live Online using MS Teams)
Beginners

Wed 8 Feb 2023

Description

Want an insight into Teams? Then join us in this friendly, fast-paced, session to learn how to get up and running. This course would suit people that are comfortable using computers and who would be confident referring to the course materials after the session to consolidate the detail.

However, if you would prefer a more in depth and slower paced course with more opportunity for practice then attend Teams Parts 1 - 5 instead (see Related courses below).

You will:

  • Understand Teams, channels and gain an overview of what is possible in the application. In Teams you can:
  • video/audio chat or message colleagues one-to-one or in a group
  • arrange and attend meetings
  • collaborate in real time with colleagues - access, share, and edit Word docs, PowerPoint, and Excel files
  • add applications that you need to work with e.g. OneNote, Planner, Forms/surveys.

Please Note: that you will require Microsoft Teams installed.

Please Note: It is important that when you book on this course, on your booking confirmation page, click on Add to Calendar to start the process to import the course appointment into your calendar. This contains the link to the MS Teams course meeting under Joining Instructions that you will use to join on the day of the course.
