Description

This course is for IT Support Staff who may support users of Exchange Online. It will describe the mechanisms for migrations from Hermes and an on-premise Exchange service. The practical exercises will cover a range of operating systems and mail clients.

Please note that this is a one day course with two sessions and a break to lunch.

Aims
  • Being able to support individual users of Hermes to migrate to Exchange Online.
  • Being able to migrate shared resources correctly.
  • Being able to scope a project to migrate an institution to migrate to Exchange Online (from either Hermes or Exchange on-premise)
  • Familiarity with the set of supported mail clients
Format

Both lectured and hands-on exercises.

Duration

Full day. Participants need to attend both morning and afternoon sessions to complete the course.
