Description

CamTools is an online system used to create sites to support teaching, research, and collaboration. Within a CamTools site academics, students, administrators and guests can use a collection of online tools to collaborate, communicate and share resources.

Aimed at those looking for a general introduction to the system, this course covers all basic functions of CamTools and offers hands-on experience of running a site as an administrator. You will practice working with the most useful tools (uploading documents, updating a calendar, posting announcements etc), and managing a site (adding site members, creating groups etc). By the end of the course you will have developed a fully functioning CamTools site, populated with a standard set of tools.
