Description

This workshop will focus on vocabulary building at the academic level (i.e., appropriate word choice, the effective use of academic language, avoiding redundancy, simplifying overcomplicated language, language for clarity, etc.).

Target audience
  • Non-native PhD and Postdoc, MPhil by Research students from the Department of Engineering
  • Further details regarding Engineering Language Unit's eligibility criteria are available
Prerequisites

Must be PhD, postdoc or MPhil by Research students from the Department of Engineering.
