It will address communication skills in writing from different practical angles involving emails, notes and strategies to prepare for and draft a paper or report. It will provide an overview of the most common stylistic, structural and grammatical mistakes made in these writing scenarios and equip you to fix those relevant to your own writing

What makes a good piece of scientific writing? This workshop presents the features of good scientific writing with a focus on scientific style. It will then get you writing yourself and finishes by exploring techniques of editing.

This workshop will cover a variety of speaking scenarios experienced at conferences and will equip you with the language required from small talk and everyday English to the language of presentations and questions.
