The course is designed to give participants an overview of Lean six sigma thinking as applied within Higher Education, and an explanation of some of the basic tools used to improve processes.

Objectives
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Gain a basic understanding of the methodology used in process improvement
- Understand the logical sequence of steps that need to be taken to sustain improvement outcomes
- Participate in “hands on" group simulations to reinforce the course classroom content
- Explore the level of empowerment they have to make process changes
