Postdocs' Work and Family Life Seminar Series
New

Wed 13 Nov 2019

Description

The next event on ‘Postdocs’ Work and Family Life Seminar Series’ will be a panel session about how academics improve their wellbeing and productivity with hobbies and interests.

A recent report indicated that; 'In large-scale surveys, UK higher education staff have reported worse wellbeing than staff in other types of employment (including education, and health and social work) in the areas of work demands, change management, the support provided by managers and clarity about one's role.'*

Elena Pavlenko and Amber Ruigrok will be sharing their own mental health challenges as academics and their strategies for coping.

Please register your interest in this well-being event and feel free to bring your lunch. Coffee/tea will be available.
