The pandemic has put a strain on everyone’s mental health. This training helps us to become more aware of the mental health of people around us, and will give people tools and ways to help other people who might be struggling, and ways to look after one's own mental health. This half day online course is ideal for everyone who wants to increase mental health awareness, tackle stigma, and support wellbeing. Developed by Mental Health First Aid England who focus on delivery of quality assured, evidence based training programmes aimed at increasing mental health literacy. |

An opportunity to meet and engage with mathematics alumni who have taken a variety of interesting careers paths. The purpose of this event is to give you a glimpse of possible career opportunities beyond academia. You will hear about the different experiences of DAMTP and DPMMS alumni who have chosen to work outside of academia, with an opportunity to ask questions, obtain advice, and network over lunch.
