Bioinformatics: Python for MRI Applications

Description

This course introduces coding in Python at a basic level and the construction of simple software tools for MRI analysis. Further information is available.

Please note that if you are not eligible for a University of Cambridge Raven account you will need to book by email.

Target audience
  • Primarily for members of the Department of Experimental Psychology
  • All University members (this includes colleges and departments, where spare places are available)
  • External participants (where spaces are available)
  • Further details regarding Graduate School of Life Sciences' eligibility criteria are available
Prerequisites
  • Basic computing skills
  • An understanding of fMRI
Aims
  • To introduce participants to basic coding in Python
  • To introduce the use of Python to construct software tools for MRI analysis
Format
  • Presentations, demonstrations and practicals
  • Four half day sessions
Notes
  • This course is designed and presented by the Department of Experimental Psychology to meet the specific needs of that Department
  • However, others are welcome to take up empty places if they consider the course content fits their interests
