Lifting and Manual Handling
This awareness training is for all staff who are regularly involved in moving and carrying loads and setting up equipment etc. The course involves theory, video and a practical demonstration by the instructor.

- To have an understanding of the causes of manual handling injuries
- To have an understanding of methods of preventing injuries
- To understand the need to carry out a formal risk assessment where a significant risk of a manual handling injury has been identified
