Description

This day-long training course consists of a mixture of taught and interactive practical elements intended to show participants how to get the best out of Twitter for research purposes.

Please note that this course requires you to have an existing working knowledge of Twitter. In order to apply you must fill in an application form available at the following address

Aims

Encouraging participants to consider how to craft better tweets, develop their reach, make them more effective users of the platform’s features and grow their existing network. They will also be encouraged to evaluate their current use of Twitter and consider practical ways of optimising their experience and using the platform to its full potential.

System requirements

All participants should bring a laptop or other device with Twitter on it. We will be actively using Twitter throughout the day so participants may wish to set up an alternative account to use, but this is not essential.
