This is a mandatory briefing for every user of the SP Cleanroom in the Cavendish Laboratory's Mott Building. Participants must attend annually as they will be provided with updated information on Cleanroom procedures and safety requirements.
Users of the SP Cleanroom Processing lab in Mott Building (first floor) at the Cavendish Laboratory.
Not for users of other cleanrooms at the Cavendish Laboratory.

By the end of the session, the participants should be able to:
- Identify and complete forms required for access
- Find and sign risk assessments related to cleanroom work
- Describe the route for disposal of wastes from the cleanroom
- Correctly complete and forward the University of Cambridge COSHH Health Record Form
- Explain cleanroom etiquette and any changes to procedures
- Obtain help quickly if they suspect exposure to a hazardous substance
- Report faults quickly and to the right person
- Follow out of hours working procedures
To ensure cleanroom users work in a safe manner and avoid incidents to themselves and others
