Practical Project Management
![]() This is an in-person, all day workshop delivered by Keith Crampton from Wiz Training. This will equip participants to be effective members of project teams, serve as a useful refresher for those who feel established in effectively managing a project, and provide a foundation for colleagues new to managing projects. The workshop uses a foundation of 9 key project management steps that can be scaled to suit any size of the project and includes example documentation (alternatively your own methodology can be integrated into the material) The session will be starting at 9:30 and finishing at 4:30. Light refreshments will be provided, please email staff-training@eng.cam.ac.uk if you have any dietary requirements or adjustments. |

Disability Awareness Workshop - Neurobox
![]() This is a 1-hour, 30-minute workshop, looking at an overview of Disability Awareness with Neurobox. Neurobox is a leading workplace adjustments provider in Cambridge, dedicated to fostering inclusive and accessible work environments for disabled and neurodivergent individuals. This session is to enable colleagues to become more aware of the needs of employees and colleagues with disabilities and long-term health conditions. What does disability mean? This online session will be lead by Dr Audrey Tang and what a better time to attend a session on Mental Health Awareness Week. Audrey is a Chartered Psychologist (CPsychol) and award-winning author with a focus on practical self improvement. Her recent book, "The Leader's Guide to Wellbeing" outlines different techniques leaders can use to get positive affect. Her practical and easily applicable tools for real results are often the standout feature, along with her motivational training style and unique approach to workshops using interactive training methods. Key takeaways from this session: Identifying the “Leader as Coach” framework as a successful method to implement change. Recognise the issues that the leader may face when implementing transformational change, and how to address them. Define what a “wellbeing culture” actually looks like to you as a leader or a people professional – and in turn the team. Raising awareness of the resources already available (as well as recognising their effectiveness for individual team needs). Finding ways to implement team interventions. Identifying what is and isn’t “wellbeing”, and recognising the different pathways of support available. Feedback from previous sessions: "I found the session very useful.
