Cancellation and Non-attendance

Please do not make a booking on a course, programme or event unless you are sure that you can attend.

Places are at a premium and reserving places by booking and then cancelling or not attending will penalise others on over-subscribed events and incur a cost to the University. Of course, we understand that in some instances cancellation or non-attendance may be unavoidable.

How to cancel your booking

If you need to cancel your place, please do so as soon as possible.

  • Log in and Choose Your Bookings
  • Choose the relevant booking
  • Select Cancel booking
  • Select a reason for cancellation
  • Choose Cancel Booking

Repeat and late cancellers

Each year, we notice a small number of people who repeatedly make and then cancel bookings, including at the last minute. Where repeat cancellations are made without good reason, we reserve the right to refuse attendance at future courses, programmes or events.

Non-attendance

Please do not make a booking on a course, programme or event unless you are sure that you can attend.

In order to support reviews of development priorities and planning, Heads of Institutions and/or Departmental Administrators are able to access lists of courses attended by members of the department or faculty. This includes non-attendance information. If you have any questions regarding this please contact us.

Repeat non-attendees

Each year, we notice a small number of people who repeatedly make and then cancel bookings, including at the last minute. Where repeat cancellations are made without good reason, we reserve the right to refuse attendance at future courses, programmes or events.
