Description

Cambridge University Libraries has a new Digital Preservation Policy that has been developed over the past two years as part of the Polonsky-funded Digital Preservation at Oxford and Cambridge (DPOC) project.

Come along to hear how this policy has been developed, what the policy covers, and what this means for you and your work.

Target audience

Any staff member at Cambridge University Libraries currently working with digital content, or who may be in contact with digital content in the future.

Objectives

An awareness and high-level understanding of the new Digital Preservation Policy and what this means for Cambridge University Libraries as well as an overall understanding of the policy development process.

Aims

Communicate the key points of the new Digital Preservation Policy to Cambridge University Libraries staff. Provide information on the process of developing policy at Cambridge University Libraries, particularly related to the digital environment.
