Description

An Orientation tour of the University Library for English Faculty students, led by members of the English Faculty Library staff.

To book your place, please go to the English Faculty Library's booking system and click on the tour you wish to attend.

Target audience
  • Undergraduates of the English Faculty
  • Further details regarding Cambridge University Library's eligibility criteria are available
Prerequisites
  • You'll need to have a University of Cambridge card or a current Reader's Ticket to enter the library. For more information, please see the Admissions webpages
Aims
  • To learn your way around the building and its print collections, in particular those related to English
  • To discover how to navigate our catalogues
  • To learn how to order from the closed stacks and find your book on the open shelves
