Access 2016: Creating a Simple Database

Description

This is an introduction to the popular database package Microsoft Access. The course is aimed at those who have never used the package before or have just started using it. There is an Access Fast Track course that is a shortened version of this course for those who learn at a faster pace.

Target audience
  • All current University members (departments and colleges)

  • Participants are expected to have basic computing skills.

  • Creating a basic report

Presentations, demonstrations and practicals.

  • Anyone wishing to copy the course exercise files should bring a USB memory stick or they can be downloaded here.
  • The concepts and design of relational databases are only briefly covered at this level, you will need to attend the Access 2016 Further Use course for a more detailed overview.
