I am delighted to announce the dates for a 2 day pilot training course – Communicating for Success, which will become part of a structured management development programme for CUL managers.
Dates: 11-12 November (Attendance at both days is essential)

Aims and objectives of the Module:
This module content has been designed in response to staff feedback which has highlighted the need for more structured support and development of line management skills.
This two day module is designed for mangers at all levels who are part of the CUL Leadership Network and focusses on exploring a range of communication skills and also provides opportunities to put these skills into practice.
Objectives:
To explore the role of an effective manager, through communication To outline the expectations of each CUL manager when communicating To understand the value of a feedback culture and openness to feedback at all levels of the organisation To explore the skills required for effective communication, including active listening, questioning and feedback. To understand the role of coaching in effective line management To provide an opportunity to practice the skills required to coach, give feedback and hold a challenging conversation
The two days will provide opportunities for discussion, sharing good practice and practical exercises to support learning.
