Prerequisites:
- Experience with Python equivalent to either of the introductory courses Introduction for Absolute Beginners or Introduction for Programmers
- Experience with basic numerical maths equivalent to calculus in a Science degree is desirable
- Knowledge of the following mathemtical concepts:
- "del squared", diffusion equation, fourier transform, matrix manipulation, matrix eigen-structure
