Prerequisites:

  • Experience with Python equivalent to either of the introductory courses Introduction for Absolute Beginners or Introduction for Programmers
  • Experience with basic numerical maths equivalent to calculus in a Science degree is desirable
  • Knowledge of the following mathemtical concepts:
    • "del squared", diffusion equation, fourier transform, matrix manipulation, matrix eigen-structure

Taught using: Python v 2.x on MCS Linux

Theme: Programming and Scripting
