Aimed at those intending to use CamTools to support teaching and learning, this short course will offer you hands-on experience of running a course site. You will practice sharing documents with students, creating events to which students can subscribe, setting up forums, creating assignments and more. |

GRADschool is a three-day residential course for research students who are either in the middle or coming to the end of their PhDs and wondering, ‘What next?’ The course gives you a rare chance to put to one side work and other daily distractions, in order to focus on your personal learning and development. This is achieved through a balance of case studies led by our expert Tutor Team, work in small groups, and the opportunity for individual reflection. Having studied Microsoft Office Excel you should be able to navigate the software at the feature and functionality level. You will be familiar with and know how to use at least 80% of the features and capabilities of Microsoft Office Excel. You will be able to use Microsoft Office Excel 2010 to create and edit professional-looking spreadsheets for a variety of purposes and situations. When you pass Exam 77-881 or 77-888 you complete the requirements for the certification Microsoft Office Specialist at either Core or Expert Level. There is a £150 fee for this course which includes a set book, a practice exam, an exam, a re-take and your certificate. If you are interested in taking the course please register your interest, indicating if you prefer Excel 2007 or 2010 in the special requirements section. Please also let us know if you are intending to work towards the Core or Expert level exam, if you are not sure which is best for you then give the Training Team a ring to chat it through: 01223 334662. |
