This self-paced practical course covers the most commonly used features of Microsoft Word.

Basic computer skills i.e. familiarity with using a keyboard and mouse. The course is aimed at beginners - no previous knowledge or experience of wordprocessing is assumed.

Self-paced hands-on working from a workbook
The course will be taught using Word 2013 on PCs but will also be suitable for Word 2007/2010 users. Macintosh users of Word 2011 should also find it useful.
- The course will be taught using Word 2010 on PCs but will also be suitable for Word 2007/2013 users. Macintosh users of Word 2011 should also find it useful.
- Participants work at their own pace using a workbook containing notes and exercises
