Microsoft IT Academy: Course Course 10524: Intermediate Skills in Microsoft Outlook 2010 Online
This one-hour course describes how to use basic features of Microsoft Outlook 2010 for e-mail messaging and scheduling.

To make the most of this learning experience, you should belong to one or more of the following groups:
- Outlook 2003 or Outlook 2007 users who have completed the Beginner Skills in Microsoft Outlook 2010 course (10293).
- Outlook 2010 users who are familiar with its basic features.
Topics covered in this course include:
- Customize User Interface and Program Elements
- Arrange Outlook Items
- Create and Respond to Messages
- View Messages and Attachments
- E-mail Signature
- Contact Records
- Create and Manage Appointments, Meeting Requests, Tasks, Notes, and Journal
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
- Use features of Outlook 2010 for enhancing e-mail communication.
- Manage contacts and schedules.

To view this course, you need:
- A Pentium II, 256 MB RAM with a processor speed greater than or equal to 400 MHZ
- Microsoft® Windows® 2000 or higher
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher
- Macromedia Flash 7.0 or higher (1MB disk space needed to install)
- Microsoft Windows Media Player 7.0 or higher
- Microsoft XML Core Services 3.0 or higher
- A Super VGA monitor with minimum screen resolution 1024x768, with 16-bit color.
- A sound card, and either speakers or headphones (for multi-media audio).
- Internet bandwidth of 56K or faster. Broadband internet access is recommended.
- For courses containing Virtual Server-based labs (courses in the IT Professional and Developer Catalog), you will need:
