This is the fourth module of the CCNA series, should you wish to book on the series please book on Module 1 Introduction to Networks. This course discusses the WAN technologies and network services required by converged applications in a complex network. The course enables you to understand the selection criteria of network devices and WAN technologies to meet network requirements. You will learn how to configure and troubleshoot network devices and resolve common issues with data link protocols. You also develop the knowledge and skills needed to implement IPSec and virtual private network (VPN) operations in a complex network |

Ensembl API workshop

The Ensembl project provides a comprehensive and integrated source of annotation of mainly vertebrate genome sequences. This workshop is aimed at researchers and developers interested in exploring Ensembl beyond the website. The workshop covers the core, compara, variation and functional genomics (regulation) databases and APIs. The Ensembl Perl API Documentation can be found here. For each of these, the database schema and the API design as well as the most important objects and their methods will be presented. This will be followed by practical sessions in which the participants can put theoretical learning into practice by writing their own Perl scripts. Secure your spot at this hands-on seminar where you will build a data acquisition system using LabVIEW Software and Compact DAQ Hardware. You will have the opportunity to choose between numerous hands-on exercises that are designed to help you build a data acquisition system, take a variety of sensor measurements, and learn how to program LabVIEW for automating measurements and signal processing. |

CamSIS Search

CamSIS Search is a tool used within CamSIS to create lists of students and update student data. This course will show you how to understand the data structure and how to use CamSIS Search to create student lists. |
The course is designed to take someone from having no knowledge of the Unix command line to being able to navigate around directories, and doing simple file manipulation. Then some of the more basic commands, will be introduced, including information on how to get more help from the system itself. Finally accessing remote computers by ssh and the most basic of shell scripts will be introduced. |

During this one hour presentation I will introduce you to the challenging and diverse topic of regulatory affairs in the pharmaceutical industry and cover some of the aspects we are faced with day to day in the country role. In particular we will look at some of the issues faced with fraudulent and counterfeit medicines and when looking at promotional affairs and product claim development, as these are the two topics for a potential project with Gilead.
