Description


PHEP is Cambridge's professional development programme for probationer University lecturers and new College teaching officers. With contributions from academic and key administrative staff from the collegiate University, the seminar provides a platform for orientation and exploration of the opportunities, cultures and conventions of the University of Cambridge. The seminar is a core feature of PHEP and all probationer University lecturers are expected to participate.

Target audience
  • University Teaching Officers on probation
  • New College Teaching Officers (by agreement of their ST)
  • You are strongly recommended to attend the Seminar within the first two years of your appointment

  • The Seminar is led by the PHEP Adviser, with contributions from members of University and College academic and administrative staff
  • It has been designed to address the interests and priorities of its diverse participants
  • It is of value both to those who already have considerable experience of Cambridge and also to those who have had no prior association with the University or Colleges

Charging
  • There is a charge for College Teaching Officers who wish to attend this event (this will not be met by you, but by your College)
  • If you are a College Teaching Officer please confirm your wish to attend with your Senior Tutor before making a booking
  • When you make your booking please select 'Full' in the charging section and send a purchase order number from your College to PPD to confirm your payment
